Step-By-Step

AIR DUCT CLEANING PROCESS

Vacu-Man air duct cleaning process includes our specially designed vacuum truck (which is a very powerful vacuum cleaner). We come to your home; our expert technician will attach a giant 10-inch hose to your furnace (where the blower fan is located). Turn on the power and the negative air pressure draws the dirt and from your air-duct system with our up to 15,000 cubic foot of air per minute force.

While the entire air duct system is under suction, the dirt residue inside the air ducts, registers and air vents will be loosened with a patented steel “snake ball” which travels through the air ducts with 200 psi air pressure. Vacu-Man duct cleaning technician cleans every register outlet.

Vacu-Man Air Duct Cleaning Process

STEP TWO

Our 8-inch vacuum hose, is applied to the fan compartment of the furnace, that draws 15,000 cubic feet of air per minute through your entire duct system.

STEP THREE

Cleaning heating air vents from dust, debris that falls inside and throughout the air duct system.

Every air register and return has built on residue loosened by a trained Vacu-Man air duct cleaning tech with a mobile vacuum unit. When done, air pressure of 200 PSI blows clean the remaining dirt to the vacuum in the basement.

STEP FOUR

Drilling 1″ holes, Vacu-Man will use our patent air ball snake to draw the dust, dirt and debris back to our vacuum located at the furnace. Clean air vents are all that is left!

While the air ducts are under vacuum suction, we drill one inch holes into the main air duct work.  Our Vacu-Man “snake ball” is bounced through the holes in the duct work and through every duct channel loosening dirt and dust within it.

STEP FIVE

Once the air vents are cleaned, Vacu-Man will plug and seal all 1″ holes. Next we clean the furnace including the AC coils.

The A-Coil (evaporator coil) in the furnace is thoroughly cleaned, as well as the heat exchange and furnace blower fan. When completed everything is carefully placed back into its compartment and tested to ensure it’s working.

SUMMARY

The furnace and air vent cleaning process is approximately 2-3 hours (or however long it takes to have your system clean). Once your air-duct systems are clean, you should notice an incredible difference in air flow efficiency as well as less particles throughout the air of your home.
