At Vacu-Man Furnace & Duct Cleaning, we know a thing or two about clearing the air—and on April 10th, we were proud to help clear the path for the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and dreamers. As a proud sponsor of Junior Achievement’s World of Choices Career Day at McMaster Innovation Park, we had the honour of supporting an event that empowers Hamilton youth to explore meaningful career paths and discover their full potential.

Hosted by Junior Achievement and joined by local partners like the Rotary Club of Hamilton, the event brought together hundreds of students eager to connect with professionals from a wide range of industries. The day was packed with opportunity—from hands-on workshops to inspiring keynote speakers.

We were especially thrilled to see Dejehan “Luckystickz” Hamilton, a world-class steelpan musician and entrepreneur, share his journey of turning creativity into a career. His energy and message were a perfect fit for the event’s goal: encouraging youth to chase their dreams with grit and heart.

Also taking the stage was CFL icon and Hamilton Tiger-Cats legend Simoni Lawrence, who spoke about the value of perseverance, teamwork, and community involvement—principles we live by at Vacu-Man. His words hit home, reminding students that leadership comes in many forms, both on and off the field.

For over 45 years, Vacu-Man has been a family-run business committed to integrity, service, and giving back to the community. Supporting youth empowerment and career education through events like World of Choices is part of how we invest in the future—not just of our industry, but of our city.
