Dust in the air

LOVE IS IN THE AIR... SO IS DUST

HOW TO GET RID OF DUST IN THE AIR?

Love is in the air this time of year, but so is dust, hair, debris and dirt. How do you get rid of dust this time of year? February we are locked up in the house and focused on keeping warm in Canada.   You’re forced to always close the door, the windows and keep that furnace on at all times!

As much as Valentine’s Day brings so much love to our significant other, we also have to love how much dust floats through our home.   Vacu-Man furnace and duct cleaning understands that you want to have the cleanest air in your home to breathe.

Dust in the air is always going to be a problem in the home.    Removing it completely isn’t really possible.  It’s a combination of your skin cells, the air from outside (depending on where you live could have more than other).   Cleaning your furnace and air vent system is a good way to reduce the amount you have in the home.

How do you get rid of dust in the air in February? Getting rid of dust in the air, it’s easy. Suffering from Allergies is a problem when it comes to dust. WHEN DO YOU GET THE FURNACE AND AIR DUCTS CLEANED?

Furnace and Duct Cleaning. Making sure you properly clean your air vent HVAC home system every 3-5 years OR when you renovate your home is a good idea. The time also varies if you have pets and how many.   If you have several dogs or cats, you may need to have it done on a regular basis.

Change your furnace air filter system! This is a must 3 times a year is a good measurement of when to do it.   When you hold up the filter and can’t see through it… time to change it and look to getting your furnace and air ducts cleaned.

GET RID OF DUST…DON’T JUST CLEAN THE AIR VENTS!

Cleaning the air vents and air duct system without cleaning the furnace is like changing the oil and not the oil filter on your car. Make sure you have a licensed TSSA gas tech on the crew to clean your home HVAC (Furnace) and air duct system.

DON’T GET SCAMMED BY AIR DUCT CLEANING CALLS!

Be careful with the NADCA association that claims to train air duct cleaning technicians. This is a group that was started by duct cleaning companies to ensure they follow good process and best practices.bThe issue is that they still are not licensed by the Ontario government regulations.

It’s important to clean the one thing you need not only for survival but for general health quality.  Covid was proven to be passed through the air we breathe.
