Happy New Year! The first duct cleaning call of 2024

I’m writing this in the morning of January 1, 2024.

I was just getting the sleep out of my eyes, and realized that the phone was ringing. Thinking I was about to talk with a friend, family member or a customer… I was rudely awakened with the sound of a broken phone call and the voice of someone from overseas (India I think) asking if I was interested in having duct cleaning done for $99. Yes…. it’s only 9 hours 44 minutes into 2024 and the owner of Vacu-Man Furnace and Duct Cleaning got the first annoying solicited duct Cleaning call. I was shocked, yet amused…so I let the pitch begin. I heard of their services offering all my vents, ducts and sanitation spray all for the low, low price of $99. When I asked the person what company he is from, he tells me Ontario Duct Cleaning.

I should mention that Ontario Duct Cleaning is our competition and a legit company that exists like Vacu-Man Furnace and Duct Cleaning. I know my competition well, and once again this is these soliciting callers impersonating a legit duct cleaning company claiming they do duct cleaning in Oakville, and Duct Cleaning in Burlington….but in reality it’s someone out of North Toronto and cheating poor customers into losing $99 for absolutely nothing.

I’ve included an audio clip of the conversation today, as I always like to have proof when I make these claims. Regardless… I just said it’s to early in the morning and I had to move on….
